2 St. Cloud organizations receive assistance from the MN Trust


The Anna Marie Alliance and the Ellison Center received $120,000 between them from the Otto Bremer Trust.

Those are two of 14 grants awarded to organizations in Minnesota and two of seven awarded to organizations in central Minnesota, according to data provided by the Otto Bremer Trust.

The Anna Marie Alliance received $80,000 “for general operations to provide emergency shelter and general services to women and children who have been abused and sexually assaulted.” The Ellison Center received $40,000 “to support underserved parenting, mental health and independent caregivers and their young children at high risk in the St. Cloud area.”

Hands of Hope Resource Center Inc. in Little Falls also received $40,000 in the organization’s efforts to support survivors of domestic violence and other abuse in Todd and Morrison counties.

The Otto Bremer Trust is a private charitable trust based in St. Paul.

The former basketball coach became a special advisor to SCSU’s athletic director

Local and state hall of famer Butch Raymond has been named special advisor to the director of athletics at St. Cloud State University.

Raymond has spent more than three decades as a men’s basketball coach and has led SCSU’s men’s basketball program for 13 years, the university said in a press release. He was also an administrator in NSIC for 17 years.

In this new role, Raymond will organize fundraising events, coordinate future SCSU Hall of Fame inductions and assist in the implementation of the cheerleading club.

Raymond He was inducted into the St. Cloud State Athletic Hall of Fame in 2005 and the Northern Sun Intercollegiate Hall of Fame in 2017.

Raymond was named to his new position by SCSU Interim Director of Athletics Holly Schreiner.

Rotochopper has named a new vice president of customer experience

Chad Angeli has taken on the role of Vice President of Customer Experience with St. Martin manufacturer Rotochopper.

The role is new to the company, and Angeli will lead the company’s sales, marketing and customer service and will see “strengthening the Rotochopper brand and aligning customer touch points.”

Angeli previously worked for Tennant, a designer and manufacturer of cleaning products, where he worked for 18 years.

Rinke Noonan adds 2 new attorneys to the firm

Christian Hopke and Hannah Schacher have joined the Rinke Noonan team in St. Cloud.

Hopc practices in employment/employment law, litigation and real estate law. Schacherl practices in agricultural law, environmental law and government law.

The co-owner of Trisko Jewelry was awarded by the Art Festival

Robert Trisko, co-owner of Trisko Jewelry, won the overall best of show award at the Michigan Festival in September.

Trisko was one of six people to receive an award of excellence at the Art & Apples Festival in Rochester, Michigan, the jewelry business said in a press release. The event featured over 200 artists from across the US.
