They’re also generally lighter and take up less space than upright vacs, and are great for tucking under couches or coffee tables.
However, they are not for all or all situations. If you have a large home, you may need to charge the battery just to get the job done. Also, most of them cannot stand on their own, and need a base or can be leaned against a wall.
