HECS CONDUCTS A TRAINING PROGRAM ON COMPLIANCE WITH INDUSTRIAL ENVIRONMENT AND POLLUTION LAWS

Chennai, Nov 2022: HECS(Hubert Enviro Care Systems P Ltd), a leading Environment Solutions provider in India, recently conducted a training program for middle and senior management officials from Industries all across India. The program was targeted to help organizations build their in-house capacity to manage, monitor, and continually improve environmental compliance levels.

 During the training program, Mr. V. Chandrasekhar (Director- Compliance, Par Formulations Pvt Ltd.) spoke about the various Environment, Health, and Safety laws, their objectives, and their applicability for compliance. He stressed the need for industries to ensure compliance and adherence on a sustained basis throughout the operation. 

Dr. Rajkumar Samuel (Technical Director – HECS) further explained the various regulatory compliances required to be met by industries depending on their Consent to Operate (CTO). To achieve a 30-35% reduction in carbon footprint in India by 2030, as committed by our Hon. Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the industrialists were enlightened on the analysis and evaluation of carbon footprint and were also taught about ways to reduce it. The training was also provided on conducting energy audits and the scientific methodology for green belt development to mitigate greenhouse gas emissions.

 Dr.J.R. Moses, the CEO and Managing Director of HECS, further spoke about the various advancements in environment management technologies over the years. He mentioned the various efforts by HECS in designing and manufacturing India’s first Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Internet of Things (IoT) Integrated Sewage Treatment Plants – HECS Smart Packaged STPs. He also said that it is essential to understand that environmental compliance is not a financial burden but an opportunity to ensure smooth green manufacturing.
