HIGH POINT — Fashion Snoops, the global trend forecasting agency, has partnered with the International Textile Alliance, the High Point Market Authority and the American Home Furnishing Foundation Hall of Fame as an official trend partner.

As part of the partnership, Fashion Snoops will line up trend shows four times a year in High Point.

The agency will launch four themes at the Interwoven Textile Fair each season with a fabric gallery. One of these themes will then be translated into furniture and accessories and featured in a Trend Showcase in the new American Home Furnishings Hall of Fall in time for the High Point Market.

“This is an exciting opportunity to bring a unified trend voice to High Point, which hasn’t been done before,” said Jaye Anna Mize, vice president of home and lifestyle for Fashion Snoops. “We are excited to work with these teams to bring valued consumer trends to participants that translate into actionable products.”

“This partnership illustrates how interconnected our industry is, from the trends reflected in the textile designs presented at ITA’s Interwoven Textiles Fair to the home furnishings showcased at High Point Market,” added Carrie Dillion, managing director at ITA .

The trend exhibitions will explore how designers translate these trends into new products and environments, proving a must-see for all industry professionals.

A sneak peek of the trend: symbiotic

The first trend to be inducted into the American Home Decor Hall of Fame in April will be titled “Symbiotic.” This theme includes moving sustainability to the forefront of design and the desire to conserve our planet’s resources. On the other hand, we see a migration towards colors that imitate the earth in its main shades, bringing an organic uniqueness to the home.

The trend exhibitions will be open:

  • High Point Market, spring, April 22-26
  • Interwoven Textiles Fair by ITA, Spring, May 21-24
  • High Point Market, fall, October 14-18
  • Interwoven Textiles Fair by ITA, Fall, November 12-15
