Ember is an amazing company to watch. The Los Angeles-based startup entered the space with its thermal technology to enter the cold chain space and developed equipment for the transportation of medical supplies.
I guess you could say the company has gone back to its roots with the launch of its latest product. And really, baby bottles make sense here. I’d go so far as to say that keeping milk at body temperature is more important than making sure your coffee isn’t lukewarm when you forget to drink it.
The baby bottle works similarly to the Embers range of cups. Put the “Smart warming Puck” bottle and raise the temperature to a balmy 98.6. There’s also a connected app, because it’s 2023 and you need it. That allows for remote heating, and also tracks meals over time.

CEO Clay Alexander cites his own parenting as the product’s genesis, saying, “I knew there had to be a better solution to this, so I started developing the ideas that eventually led to the Ember Baby Bottle System. It’s designed to give parents back time, so they can spend less time worrying and more time enjoying those precious moments with their child.
The bottle is packaged as a “system” that includes two bottles/nipples, a heating pack and a “heat dome” to take on the go. It’s currently shipping and predictably not cheap, running $400 when you buy it on Ember’s website.
