TOPEKA, Kan. (WIBW) – A Topeka business known for passing on savings to customers will soon open a new location in Lawrence.
Officials at ReHome Stores — based in Topeka — said they will open a new location in Lawrence on Jan. 25 at 10 a.m. The new location is at 711 W. 23rd St. – Located in the mall shopping center. The store will be open from 10am to 6pm, Wednesday to Saturday.
The new storefront will feature a variety of discounted furniture, home goods, toys, cosmetics, kitchenware and more, according to the staff. Employees at the new location have been hired back to add 5-8 additional jobs to the community.
“ReHome’s success and growth would not be possible without our loyal customers and amazing team members,” said Zach Haney, owner of ReHome Stores. “I am proud of our team and their commitment to creating the ultimate customer experience. We are grateful for the opportunity to serve the people of Lawrence.”
ReHome says its mission is to save customers money on things they love while creating the ultimate customer experience around them. Bargain-seeking friends who frequent the stores will find free coffee and freshly baked goods near the register to enjoy, he said.
Officials said the company is an off-price retailer that buys stock from major national retailers to pass on savings to customers. With lower costs, ReHome can offer larger discounts at lower prices, he said.
