C-Suite: Eddie Vega – Talk Business and Politics


Fast facts: Vega is the first Hispanic to own a radio license in Arkansas, and the company is the only independent radio cluster with FM signals in Little Rock and Northwest Arkansas.

What is the best business advice you have ever received or given? I was once told, “Follow your dreams, and never give up.” And because I don’t often give up, my entrepreneurial spirit has led me to pioneer many businesses that have made our company what it is today.

Which support skills do you think are most important when it comes to leadership?? Honesty, compassion and problem solving.

If you could change one thing about your leadership style, what would it be and why? Delegate more. To connect with other communities in surrounding states.

What do you think is most important to creating a positive culture? Promoting respect, diversity and inclusion.

What is the most recent book you read? “The Biggest Dreams Are Teamwork” by Pat Williams

What is the most used app on your phone? My phone is working 24/7, even on vacation. I use a lot of phone apps, but messaging apps (Text, WhatsApp, Messenger) are by far my most used.

If you had $1 million to give away, what would you support? I support minority causes. I think our community is still underserved in many areas of our region.

What is one thing you would change about your company today?? I don’t have anything specific that I would like to change at this time. Most of the changes have taken place over the years.
