Quinones, Tex-Mex is famous for corn tortillas. Fans are known

Why did you and your husband open Tex-Mex Tortilleria?
Well, my family has always owned restaurants. My mother had a restaurant
Rositas and Grandma and Grandpa had a restaurant a few blocks away
Stay away from here. They lived where FLOC started back in the day.
They go to South and Broadway every morning
Restaurant open and running. I used to watch mine when I was a little kid.
Grandpa do it often.

My husband, Alex, and I opened Tex-Mex Tortilleria four years ago.
We always want to open a business because we think we will try

What makes Tex-Mex so special?

This place has been here since 1956 and every Hispanic person knows it
it is. It’s an icon. There is a lot of history in this building. Many famous
Hispanic singers stayed upstairs. The previous owner, back in the day,
Mexican dances were performed in the exhibition hall.

I can’t think of everyone but my mom knows. I was told Selena’s father.

What are your specialties?

Well, our staple is the weekend and also our tortillas.

What do you see for the future of Tex-Mex?

We are blessed with Mexican transportation and bakery. We want to stay
As long as we can here. We spent a lot of time and money. i am
