#shopchelseamich traders are gearing up for the Fresh Air Market Fashion & Home Show on 19th & 20th August.

The Fresh Air Market starts at 10am on Friday 19 August. Stroll the streets of Chelsea and experience a warm welcome, wonderful merchandise and enjoy the wonderful dining and drinking options on offer at this year’s Fresh Air Market.

A sample of what to expect:

  • FINDING
    there will be a 50% color sale! All blue label clothing will be ½ off the marked price. In addition, all shoes will be BOGO ½ off. Find, located on South Main Street, is a Gift & Thrift – Family Clothing store featuring new and pre-loved items.
  • “A city isn’t a city without a bookstore”…Neil Gaiman. Serendipity Books
    will be featuring items for sale at their tent on East Middle Street, including romantic ‘Lucky Dip’ bags ($5 for 7 titles) and children’s picture books for $1. Visit their new space on East Middle Street, spend $25 and choose a free new book (from a selection of advanced reader copies.)
  • True North Jerky, located at 12855 East Old US 12 will have everything to grill, including their handmade bratwurst, hot dogs, steaks, chops and fish. Owners John and Courtney are both MSU alumni with backgrounds in animal science, meat science and food safety. They and their three children are fourth and fifth generation Chelsea farmers.
  • The cottage rabbit
    there will be discounts on a variety of inventory in the store. At The Cottage Rabbit, located on West Middle Street, you’ll find vintage treasures for home and garden decor! They have vintage and antique items along with new goods for your home.
  • House
    there will be a “Summer Clarence” sale on select items! La Maison is a home decor and interior design store located on Main Street,
  • The Garden Mill
    there will be end of season sales along with lots of new items. Garden Mill is a destination for all seasons, featuring unique, handcrafted items to beautify your garden and home year-round, located on Main Street.

Chelsea’s #shopchelseamich restaurants will provide the food you need for your shopping and market experiences throughout the weekend.

Don’t miss your chance to participate in one of the most well-written and imaginative mystery hunts – “Sherlock Holmes and the Case of the Lost Hope Stone” – brought to you by Mykala Mortgage Planning.

The scavenger hunt starts at 10am on August 19th and ends at 5pm on August 20th. Data will be stored in participating stores. Scavenger hunt participants will be entered into a draw to win a basket of Chelsea merchandise!

The Third Annual Fashion and Home Show will be held on August 20 at 11 a.m. in Palmer Commons. Fun-loving business owners will display their wares including clothing, accessories, grilled food and garden and home goods. This event is brought to you in partnership with the Chelsea Farmers Market – The market’s music will pause for 30 minutes to accommodate the catwalk.
