Under the theme We create together, Huawei, a well-known technology company, recently launched the 2022 edition of the Huawei Global App Innovation Contest (Apps Up). The competition aims to strengthen the skills of regional app developers and inspire collaboration to build a connected app ecosystem. Developers can submit their goals until 6pm UTC+8, October 9, 2022.
How does the competition work?
Apps App will run through the summer, ending in December 2022, with some amazing things along the way. Participating developers must log in to the Huawei Developers website with a valid Huawei ID to submit their work in ZIP or RAR format no larger than 200MB.
Contestants may enter individually or as part of a team of up to three members in eight categories. To be eligible, participants must integrate their application with HMS open capabilities or services with a team leader account. Developers must integrate at least 1 HMS open capability kit or service and ensure that the application runs smoothly on HMS devices.
Following a combination of public votes and evaluation by judges who are industry leaders from each region, the winners will be announced in December 2022.

Categories and awards
AppsApp 2022 offers $230,000 in prize money to developers in the Middle East and Africa, ranging from $5,000 to $15,000 individually.
