Deeplite Wins 2022 Global Business Award® for Artificial Intelligence/Machine Learning Solution

Deeplite’s AI optimization solutions honored with a Silver Stevie® Award

Montreal, August 24, 2022 /PRNewswire/ — Deeplite, a provider of AI optimization software designed to make AI model data fast, compact and energy-efficient, announced today that it has won 19 Silver Stevie Awards.Th Annual Global Business Awards® in the Artificial Intelligence (AI)/Machine Learning (ML) category for Computer Vision Solutions.

Deeplite’s flagship products, Deeplite Neutrino and Deeplite Runtime (DeepliteRT), enable large, process-intensive and power-intensive AI models to run on limited chipsets (eg CPUs, MCUs). This affects many industries, because deep neural networks (DNNs) that enable peripheral tasks from security, surveillance, automotive and others are built on large AI models, which require a huge amount of data. This often makes harnessing the power of AI too expensive and complex for many organizations, especially startups and small businesses. Diplite’s computer vision enables these organizations to run AI models on tiny edge devices like security cameras or drones.

“The work we’re doing at Deeplite is critical to the continued innovation of AI, and I’m proud that the team has made Neutrino and DeepliteRT such a success,” he said. Nick RomanoCo-founder and CEO of Deeplite. “We’re currently working to bring our computer vision AI to customers in multiple industries around the world, and we’re looking forward to expanding our reach to more organizations that want to use it.”

The International Business Awards are the world’s leading business awards program. All individuals and organizations around the world – public and private, non-profit, large and small – are eligible to submit nominations. This year, more than 3,700 nominations were submitted in a variety of categories across all sizes and across all industries. The 2022 IBAs received submissions from organizations in 67 countries and territories.

More than 300 judges participated in this year’s International Business Awards. For Deeplite’s entry, some of the judges’ comments are as follows.

  • A very exciting product that enables AI/Machine Learning on peripheral devices instead of storing big data in the cloud or data centers. I find it really interesting to achieve a two-bit size while maintaining model accuracy. I believe that products like these will revolutionize AI/ML in the edge areas.
  • DeepliteRT is a powerful and efficient AI software platform that helps companies save time, money and energy.
  • To alleviate the limitations currently imposed by machine learning algorithms, they have created a product to deploy AI models on low-power computing resources. This is important because many devices that can use AI/ML run on batteries or are designed to have a small form factor. The market has successfully adopted your product in various industries.

“This year’s honorees are as creative, adventurous, resilient and successful as we come across,” said the Stevie Awards president. Maggie Miller. We look forward to celebrating their achievements with them at the awards banquet on October 15. London.”
