In the video, which has gone viral, Anita from Dubai explains what fellow fashionistas should look for when shopping.
“If you don’t have a slim waist, wear dresses that I’ll show you right now.”
The first option, according to her, is a dress with a corset element around the waist – a practical feature for those who want to give their body a more lifted appearance.
Standing in a shop, Anita then opted for another flattering style.
“And the second option will be dresses with an element under the chest.”
Similar to a corset, this will cinch in at the waist, creating an hourglass effect.
The video has gone viral and while some thanked Anita for her fashion advice, there were those who disagreed.
