Leading a public life is one of the biggest downsides of being a filmstar. When every little thing about your personal life is known to the world, people are quick to connect dots and make assumptions. In a recent media interaction, actor Kartik Aaryan shared that media often labels his friendships and relationships and he is yet to develop a thick skin towards it.
He told Zoom Digital, “I have come to terms with the fact that my life will be out there, but the other side of that is if there is a genuine friendship somewhere, they will still label it. So that kind of labelling sometimes creates a lot of problems between people so that is not fair. I am starting to get used to it but I’m not thick-skinned yet.”
Taking his point further, Kartik said, “It still affects me if there is anything negative. And it affects me, even more, when I have not done anything and it is completely baseless.”
On the work front, Kartik was last seen in the hit film ‘Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2’ and his upcoming projects include ‘Freddy’, ‘Shehzada’, ‘Satyaprem Ki Katha’ and ‘Captain India’ among others.
