Madonna and Lourdes Leon’s matching outfits at the Tom Ford Show

Madonna and Lourdes Leon turned New York Fashion Week into a family affair. The mother-daughter duo sat front row at Tom Ford’s Spring 2023 runway show on Sept. 14 and wore coordinating outfits. Madonna styled a black silk two-piece ensemble with fingerless leather gloves and a lace lingerie-style bodice, while Leon wore a sparkling ankle-length dress, a cross pendant and strappy sandals. They were joined by Madonna’s 22-year-old son Rocco Ritchie, who was dressed in a purple velvet suit, silk button-down and matching sunglasses.

Madonna sat among the eldest of her six children at Skylight on Vesey, while the Hadid sisters and more models presented a themed collection filled with cut-out dresses, tiny bralettes and oversized jackets. Other stars in attendance included Lori Harvey, who went shirtless in an olive-colored suede sports jacket; Ciara, who turned heads in an all-red ensemble; and Conan Grey, who wore a gold top and cheetah print pants.

Leon is no stranger to Fashion Week, making her runway debut for Gypsy Sport’s NYFW show in 2018 when she was 21 years old. Since then, she’s walked the runway for Versace, Rihanna’s Savage X Fenty brand and Marine Serre, and sat front row at countless other launches.

While discussing her modeling career with Interview magazine last year, Leon said: “I want to create a world where models have more responsibility for what they’re doing, and they’re not just silent racks of clothes. This is the age we” are entering the world of fashion: models as personalities and artists.”
