Marriott International has opened its second Four Points by Sheraton hotel in Tanzania – The Four Points by Sheraton Dar es Salaam, New Africa Hotel.

Sitting in the heart of the city’s central business district, overlooking the harbor, the hotel has emerged as a landmark and an integral part of the city. With the renovation and rebranding, the hotel continues to deliver on its promise to provide what matters most to today’s independent travelers.
“The hotel is a great addition to our rapidly growing footprint in Africa and will further strengthen the brand’s presence in Tanzania.

Designed for the modern traveller, with a focus on approachable design, the hotel comprises 174 spacious and modern rooms.
It also offers all-day dining, a coffee shop and a lounge-bar. The hotel offers a signature restaurant overlooking the harbor featuring Pan-Asian fine dining.
Other amenities include an outdoor pool and fitness center, and an indoor meeting and banquet space with 12 meeting rooms.

The brand is the fourth property to open in the region, having previously opened at Sheraton Hurlingham Four Points, Sheraton Nairobi Airport Four Points and Sheraton Arusha Four Points Sheraton Dar es Salaam.
