MING has added a new watch storage case to its lineup of watch accessories, aptly titled the MING Travel Case. The new case is modeled from carbon fiber watch storage cases the brand released earlier this year as a part of its 5th-anniversary celebration.
Exclusively made for the horologer, the MING Travel Case now comes in a sleek anthracite maple veneer exterior, sharing the same materials as the Japanese-style puzzle boxes used to encase MING 20.01 Series 2 timepieces. The core of the case is constructed with Okoumé, which is reinforced with fiberglass to create a slim yet sturdy build that is lightweight.
Meanwhile, its interiors are doused in royal blue and outfitted in a luscious microfiber suede with precision-cut high-density foam. The MING Travel Case also features a two-tiered compartment that can open completely flat for display purposes, and can house up to seven 43mm wide watches including straps.
Only 50 units The MING Travel Case retails for CHF 950 (approximately $1023 USD) and is available for purchase via MING’s website.
Elsewhere in watches, Kurono Tokyo celebrates its new store opening with the Grand Urushi Aoyama watch collection.
