MySweetCharity Opportunity: KidneyTexas Inc. Fashion Show and Luncheon

Carla Russo and Regina Bruce*

According to co-chairman of the KidneyTexas Inc. fashion show and luncheon Regina Bruce,

“On wings of hope and transformation…. that’s the theme of the KidneyTexas Inc. luncheon and fashion show. 2022, which will be held on Tuesday, October 25.

“Kidney disease affects approximately 20 million Americans today. In Texas, there are more than 30,000 people on dialysis and 4,000 waiting on a transplant list. That is why Dr. Carla Rousseau and I, like this year’s lunch chairs, am so passionate about this cause. We want to offer hope and help transform the lives of those affected by this terrible disease.

“Don’t lose hope that treatments can be improved. Don’t lose hope that a cure can be found. Do not lose hope that you or your loved one can overcome this disease. Dr. Carla and I certainly aren’t because we believe that through research and treatment and expanded care, lives can be improved and lives can be saved. We believe in this so strongly that we are using our personal platform as co-founders of Lone Star Monarchs, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization committed to helping support causes we believe in, that we are willing to engage Lone Star Monarchs Star Monarchs to serve as Presenting Sponsor of the Butterfly of Hope in honor of our great friend, Jeanne Lewiswho knows personally the challenges and difficulties that kidney disease can have on a person’s life.

Meyerson Symphony Center and help KidneyTexas, Inc. to provide wings of hope and transformation to turn this ugly caterpillar of a disease into healthier lives filled with vibrant beauty, like a butterfly free to soar to greater and greater heights.
