Beyond the Good News: Headwinds for Early Stage Enterprise Startups

Battery Ventures’ Cloud Software Spending Report has some good news for startups looking to sell software to enterprise customers. Contrary to the gloomy claims, “reports of the death of enterprise technology spending are greatly exaggerated,” says the VC firm.

Our own Alex Wilhelm took a closer look at Exchange’s findings earlier this week and confirmed the good news: the sky isn’t falling for cloud software spending. However, there is a headwind for startups as money does not flow as freely as it used to.
