Risk of cookie theft: If multi-level authentication is not enough
Sophos recently introduced multi-factor authentication against the threat of “passing the cookie”. The new threat is executed by malware that duplicates the session cookies used to authenticate and forwards those copies to bad actors who can use them to open a new session.
