It’s the last third week of 2022, and when it comes to menswear, brands are making the most of every damn second. Let’s take a second to unpack this week: it’s been a week full of style and shopping, sports and Snyder, and, of course, Sicilia and Signet. Wow. TGIF, am I right?
Well, on the style table, this week’s events are not enough kit – not when there are still new menswear. This week’s releases are heavily focused on winterization; a pair of icy ski goggles from Chrome Hearts, a thermal jacket from Outdoor Voices, a Stüssy update on Nikes from the 90s. The message from the brands is pretty clear: winter is dirty here.
In my humble opinion, the scariest part of winter is the flimsy, cold weather clothing (I’m looking at you, big puffy jackets!). Thankfully, this year, there are a handful of looks that are both comfortable AND cool, and we’ve put some of the newest ones below. So as we creep ever further into 2023 and spend the next week in a panicked purgatory of last-minute gift shopping and 2023 preparation, if your presence of mind allows you to focus on one thing, let be this: look very good. everything the long winter.
