Why was it not possible to build the company five years ago? Why so late after five years? The answer often has to do with what changes and changes in the market or technology layer. Build your company with a good “Why Now?” Slides are a great addition to your story.
Successful companies often have these things in common: they were the right company, solving the right problem at the right time. Think of all the startups that tackled the unique challenges of accessing health care or making appointments in the early years of the pandemic.
Unlike other times, showing that you know why you’re starting now creates a sense of urgency: Investors don’t want you to miss out on a business that solves what they see as an immediate problem. It’s your job to highlight the ways your company can address these issues and why now is the right time to do so.
