Orange Park (FL) 2025 Security Oakleaf Division Hilton Stubbs He added new scholarship offers from Tennessee and Virginia Tech after informal visits to their respective campuses.
Stubbs, who holds seven early scholarship offers, visited Virginia Tech on Wednesday.
It was my first time on the Blacksburg campus.
“It was good. It was a great environment. I like it there. My father was in Virginia so I knew a little about it. a little bit But it was my first time on campus and the coaches were showing me around. it was so good. I was glad.”
Straws Father is a member of the US Navy stationed in Norfolk, VA.
During his visit to campus, Stubbs was the only high school recruit on campus and was able to get plenty of time with the coaching staff. Spent a lot of time with Pierson Prioleau.
“It was showing me a lot of different things about safety and how to carry myself,” he said. “He actually won the Super Bowl with the Saints.”

“That, to me, means a lot because everyone was in the room and we were sitting and having a good conversation, and he just said it. It was mind-blowing.”
During his visit to campus, Stubbs got a chance to see a few players he already knows.

Overall, the Blacksburg visit was a successful one for the high school senior.
“There were a lot of things that stood out to me, but coach Pree was coaching one of my favorite players in the league right now. Micah Parsonsthat’s someone I look up to a lot, so him telling me all these things about how he’s trained so many different fighters like me and how he fits me was crazy.
