Establishment of outstanding North Tech awards
In the year Launched in 2013, the Prolific North aligns with the long-standing legacy awards – at the time there were the Prolific North Awards and the Northern Marketing Awards, both launched in 2013 – and their ambition to celebrate those businesses and individuals who are making a difference in the sector.
Judges were drawn from organizations such as Tech Nation, Bruntwood, Tesco Bank, Microsoft Search Advertising, Manchester Tech Trust and more to select the finalists and winners for the coveted awards.
The event brought together influential tech professionals to reward their outstanding talent, and saw TickX’s Sam Colley named Young Tech Entrepreneur of the Year and Richard Hayes named Mojo Mortgages’ Tech Entrepreneur of the Year.
Since these beginnings, the Prolific Northern Tech Awards have continued to be hugely successful in showcasing the innovation and impact of digital technology in the North of England on a national and international stage – its cities are some of the most exciting tech hotspots.
In the year 2020 The popular Prolific North Tech Awards are back, with hundreds coming together in February to once again recognize the success and growth of technology in the North. They were joined by presenter Gavin Ramjaw at the Hilton Manchester Densgate as more than 300 people gathered to celebrate.
Winners Autocab, Specter and Nivo, finalists and winners from across the region, all joined Manchester to celebrate the North.
