“Let’s begin with news on actor-filmmaker Pooja Bhatt, who feels hate doesn’t cost much, perhaps why it might seem louder. The Hindi film industry, of which she has been a part for more than three decades, is going through a phase of box office lull and rampant negativity on social media.

But Pooja is unfazed. The actor-filmmaker says Bollywood’s latest release Brahmastra, starring her step-sister Alia Bhatt and actor Ranbir Kapoor, is a fine example of how a film can sail through any hate to win the audience’s hearts.

In an interview with indianexpress.com, Pooja Bhatt says the ticket-buying audience doesn’t care about any agenda or hate on social media. When they enter cinema halls, they simply want entertainment.”
“After calling Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt’s latest release, Brahmastra, a flop on its release, actor Kangana Ranaut has now raised fingers at the film’s box office collection. Brahmastra has been doing good business in the cinema halls. The film’s current box office collection is over Rs 150 crore. However, Kangana ‘exposed’ the ‘movie mafia’ which claims Brahmastra is a hit. As per her, the film is not holding well at the ticket counters.

She said, “The film has been declared the biggest hit at mere Rs 144 crore this is only to put in perspective how the movie mafia works. It’s they who decide which film will be declared a hit and which will be called a flop.”
“In other news,

Bollywood actor Hrithik Roshan shared a making video of his upcoming film Vikram Vedha. The video focused on Saif Ali Khan’s character in the film, Vikram. It showcased how Saif brought his character of a cop alive in the action thriller.

The video began with Saif declaring, “Oh my god, I am so excited man!” Next, we see the actor getting into action and acing some of his thrilling action sequences. He wields a gun like a pro and delivers impressive dialogues. At one point, we see the film’s director Pushkar choreographing a fight sequence between Hrithik and Saif.

While sharing the video, Hrithik described Vikram as a character who is “Mad, gutsy & relentless.””
“Meanwhile,

Actor Akshay Kumar recently lost his hairstylist Milan Jadhav, who has worked with him for 15 years. While the actor uploaded a post condoling the death, it has now come to light that Akshay has decided to support the late team member’s family.

“When actor Vicky Kaushal played the role of Vicky Sandhu, a carefree DJ in Amritsar in the film Manmarziyaan, little did he know that it would become a memorable experience for him. Now, after four years of the film’s release, the actor shared a social media post going down memory lane and reminiscing the shooting days.

Directed by Anurag Kashyap, Manmarziyaan also starred Taapsee Pannu and Abhishek Bachchan in the lead roles.

Vicky in the post uploaded a picture of a unit member analyzing his eye. The actor captioned the post, “#yearsofManmarziyaan. this scene cost me a few stitches under the eye. Such a liberating experience to play Vicky Sandhu! Grateful for a memorable journey together.””
“Actor Dulquer Salmaan is all set for his next Bollywood venture, Chup: Revenge Of The Artist. The film revolves around a serial killer who targets film critics and leaves a rating star engraved on their foreheads after murdering them. Dulquer, who has carved a place for himself down South, opened up about how he is affected by reviews.

Speaking to India Today, Dulquer said that some of the reviews about his films have been particularly harsh. “I have often read a lot of nasty things about myself in reviews. People have even written that I should quit movies and I am not made for it. It’s usually the same thing that I shouldn’t be here. This is not my calling. It’s harsh.” ”
“Social media rabble-rouser Kamaal R Khan has eliminated suspects whose names were floated as allegedly having a hand in his recent arrest. KRK, as he is popularly known, has broken bridges with several high-profile film industry personalities with his incendiary commentary and film reviews. He was arrested in Mumbai last month for allegedly posting derogatory tweets in 2020 related to the movie Laxmii starring Akshay Kumar.

Ruling out Karan Johar, Ajay Devgn, Shah Rukh Khan, Aamir Khan, and Akshay Kumar himself, he tweeted on Wednesday, “Many people are saying that @karanjohar was behind my arrest. No, it’s not true. #Karan #SRK #Aamir #Ajay #Akshay etc have nothing to do with my arrest.””
“And finally,

Amazon Prime Video has announced its first Indian original movie that will release on their OTT platform. Titled Majaa Maa, the film stars Madhuri Dixit and will release on the streaming platform on October 6.

Directed by Anand Tiwari, of Bandish Bandits fame, the film is said to be a ‘heart-warming family drama. The film is set amid an Indian wedding with the backdrop of a traditional festival. The poster suggests the film is set during Navratras. The film also stars Gajraj Rao, Ritwik Bhowmik, Barkha Singh, Srishti Shrivastava, Rajit Kapur, Sheeba Chaddha, Simone Singh, Malhar Thakar, and Ninad Kamat.
