Tandav, starring Saif Ali Khan and Mohd Zeeshan Ayyub, was marred in controversy in 2021 and multiple FIRs were filed across the country over its alleged depiction of Hindu deities in a scene.

Zafar told PTI, “I am not a controversial filmmaker or storyteller, none of the films before my last outing Tandav has been controversial. I have respect for all communities and cultures. The beauty of Indian culture is we co-exist with a lot of love and mutual respect and I want to portray that in my films,””
“Moving On,

There wouldn’t have been any Bangalore Days, Charlie, O Kadhal Kanmani, Kurup or the latest hit Sita Ramam with him had Dulquer Salmaan followed the suggestion he had received when he was working in an IT firm: Don’t become an actor.

In an interview with indianexpress.com, the actor is thankful that he was advised against acting as that made him chase it even more.

I am very happy to team up with Zee Studios, Vishal Rana and Rohini Vakil for this project.”””
“And finally,

Ayushmann Khurrana fans are in for a treat as his latest film Doctor G trailer dropped on Tuesday. The film will see the actor play a medical student, who is assigned to the gynaecology department. However, finding it to be a job suited for women, he tries hard to move to orthopaedics. What follows next is a hilarious and a bit cringy ride as he takes on the role, only to later risk a woman’s life because of his disinterest in the job. The film marks the directorial debut of Anubhuti Kashyap and also stars Shefali Shah and Rakul Preet Singh.

Doctor G will have a theatrical release on October 14.
