During the episode, host Karan Johar brought up the topic of Gauri’s son Aryan’s arrest last year, to which Gauri replied, “Nothing can be worse than what we have just been through. But where we all stand as a family, I can say that we are in a great space. We feel loved. We are grateful to everyone who helped us.”

Aryan was arrested by Narcotics Control Bureau in connection with an alleged drug bust onboard a cruise ship off the Mumbai Coast in October last year. Aryan was later cleared of all charges after spending nearly a month in jail”

After transforming Manish Malhotra’s home, Gauri Khan is all set to transform director Kabir Khan’s office space. In the promo for Dream Homes with Gauri Khan, Kabir talks about his long-standing friendship with Gauri.

Kabir has previously spoken about his friendship with Gauri when they were both growing up in Delhi and performed in a West Side Story adaptation. The Kabul Express director said, “Gauri and I were in the Puerto Rican gang, she and I used to dance together and we did a show together called West Side Story. “”

Kabir Khan and Shah Rukh Khan are from the same college and the director, in the same interview, spoke about how he once studied from SRK’s notes in college.”
“R Balki’s Chup is all set to release in theatres this Friday but before the film opens to the public, the makers arranged for a few screenings for a limited audience across 11 cities. Calling it ‘Chup Public Free View’, the makers promoted it as a screening that is being held for the audience even before film critics as it connects with the movie’s theme.

The makers shared a video from the film’s ‘free view’ on their social media handles. After the screening, fans praised the movie’s concept and Dulquer Salmaan’s performance.

“The Madhuri Dixit headlined film Maja Ma‘s trailer is set to drop today. Ahead of the event planned in Mumbai, Amazon Prime Video released a new teaser, giving a glimpse of the movie. The teaser opens with Madhuri performing Garba, while others prepare for the meeting between the two families of the young leads, played by Ritwik Bhowmik and Barkha Singh.

Madhuri, who plays Ritwik’s mother, is seen asking him if his lady love’s family is ready to accept them. As he answers in the affirmative, Madhuri teases him asking what if she rejects his lady love. The video hints at the two lovers coming from different backgrounds, which presumably will become the reason for drama in the film.”
“The Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor starrer Brahmastra has drawn varied reactions from the audience. While some have loved the visual effects and the world-building of the Ayan Mukerji film, some have criticised it.

Director Ayan Mukerji also said,v“One thing that I’ve heard is that as audiences are skewing older, some of them are even having a little bit of trouble perhaps understanding this sort of film, the genre of the film is very new,” he said. The Yeh Jawani Hai Deewani director said that since the “grammar and syntax” of the film is very new, people are taking time to fully appreciate it but upon repeat viewings, they will get more out of the film.”””

Actor Shefali Shah recalled living in cramped quarters in her youth, as her family kept moving from house to house before her father found employment at the Reserve Bank of India. She said that she has experienced what it is like to live in a ‘kholi’ with several others.

In an appearance on The Bombay Journey on Mashable India, Shefali said “I was brought up in Santa Cruz, but we moved a lot of houses. When I was growing up, my dad’s job at RBI wasn’t permanent yet. So we didn’t have a permanent home. I was very little, I don’t remember a lot of it. And then he would stay in a garage or with colleagues or friends.””
“Comedian Sunil Pal said he wanted the news of Raju Srivastava‘s passing to be just rumours, and kept on praying he would get better. The comedian says he’s “not able to accept that Raju was no more. He was fighting for his health every day, he was a strong man who has had several struggles in life but all that he ever showed us, the world, is his funny side, he made us laugh.”

Pal and Srivastava were co-contestants in The Great Indian Laughter Challenge season one in 2005, which the former also won. However, Pal said he considered Srivastava as his mentor.”
“Bharti Jaffrey, daughter of legendary actor Ashok Kumar, passed away on Tuesday after a prolonged illness. Actor Kanwaljit Singh, Bharti’s son-in-law, shared the news of her demise on social media. Kanwaljit is married to Bharti’s daughter Anuradha Patel.

Sharing pictures of himself with his late mother-in-law, Kanwaljit wrote, “Our beloved Bharati Jaffrey, Daughter, Sister, Wife, Mother, Grandmother, Aunt, Neighbour, Friend and inspiration has departed us today 20 Sep. We will bring her home at 1.30 pm today for her final goodbye at 403 Ashok Kumar Towers, 47 Union Park, Chembur 71, and thereafter cremate her at Cherai Crematorium, Chembur Camp.”””
