“The magnum opus drama Brahmastra is all set for its big release this Friday. Starring Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt in the lead roles, the film has been directed by Ayan Mukerji. On Monday, four days before the movie hits cinema halls, Ayan took to Instagram to share a new teaser of Ranbir’s character Shiva and said,
“We finally finished our last touches on Brahmastra. Also feels right to share a small glimpse of our Shiva on this Monday – the man whose story this film really is,”

“Actor-turned-filmmaker Rakesh Roshan has shared his two cents on recent Bollywood films failing at the box office. Besides questioning the choice of subjects by filmmakers, Roshan also lamented how songs have taken a backseat in movies.
In an interview with Bollywood Hungama, Roshan said that people are no longer able to connect to the subjects picked by filmmakers. He said, “People are making films that they and their friends like to watch. They are picking subjects that appeal to a very minuscule section of the audience. A big chunk of the audience cannot relate to it,”

“Lionsgate India Studios on Monday announced its foray into feature film production with an untitled Hindi movie, starring Neetu Kapoor, Sunny Kaushal and Shraddha Srinath.
Described as a coming-of-age story, the upcoming film will be directed by Milind Dhaimade of Tu Hai Mera Sunday fame. At the core of the family drama, which uses comedy as the main premise, is the relationship between a mother and her son.
Lionsgate Studios has produced shows like the urban slice-of-life comedy Hiccups & Hookups, young adult drama Jugaadistan, and Feels Like Home, a coming-of-age series.
Neetu Kapoor said, “I am excited to be part of Lionsgate Studios’ first production, in a movie, I believe will touch hearts and remain close to my heart,” ”

Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan co-owns the Indian Premier League team Kolkata Knight Riders and the Caribbean Premier League team Trinbago Knight Riders. Shah Rukh on Monday took to Twitter to celebrate Trinbago Knight Riders’ win in the Women’s Caribbean Premier League final. The team has emerged as the winner of the first-ever Women’s CPL.

A psychological thriller, the film sees Sunny Deol trying to track down a serial killer, an unusual one at that, as this particular criminal carves stars into his victim’s bodies as they kill them. Their targets are film critics, who get a rating carved on their forehead as they are mercilessly murdered.
The trailer itself is gory with people being murdered in gruesome ways, interspersed with moments of an eerie romance between Dulquer and Shreya. The film also recalls Guru Dutt’s depression after his film Kagaz Ke Phool was trashed by critics, meanwhile, Pooja Bhatt emphasises the film’s point and messaging, “You critics are killers.””
