Let us begin this bulletin with news on actors Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt, who welcomed their first baby at 12: 05 pm at the HN Reliance Hospital, Mumbai on Sunday. The couple had gotten married earlier this year in April.

The couple has welcomed a baby girl. Alia Bhatt took to Instagram and shared the announcement which read, “And in the best news of our lives, our baby is here, and what a magical girl she is. We are officially bursting with love, blessed and obsessed parents, love love love Ranbir and Alia.”

Actor Neetu Kapoor, the mother of actor Ranbir Kapoor, is overjoyed with the arrival of her granddaughter. Neetu shared that the new mother and daughter-in-law Alia Bhatt is doing fine after the delivery.

As Neetu got out of the car outside her residence, she said, “I am very happy!” When asked who the baby girl looked like, the actor said, “She is too small as of now to say that. So, I don’t know.””


“Bollywood actor Kangana Ranaut on Sunday said that she will be shooting for her next film Emergency in Assam soon. Ranaut had been location-hunting for the project since last week in various parts of the state, including Kaziranga and Karbi Anglong.

Ranaut said to reporters at the airport, “I have been to Assam several times. It is a beautiful place for shooting. I will return with my entire crew soon for shooting.”

Billed as the story of a watershed moment in the political history of India, Emergency is written and directed by Kangana Ranaut. She also stars as former prime minister Indira Gandhi in the upcoming film.

“Kangana also took to her Instagram stories and criticised the verification process of Twitter while extending her support for ‘ideologically motivated’ Twitter. However, she also added that paying a certain amount to maintain a Twitter account will ‘help maintain its integrity.

Kangana wrote, “Twitter is the best social media platform that is there right now, it is intellectually / ideologically motivated not about looks or lifestyle, I could never understand the idea of verification that some selected few get, as if others don’t have an authentic existence, for example, I will get verified but if my father wants a blue tick then 3-4 clowns will dismiss his very identity as if he is living some illegal life…””
“Actors Parineeti Chopra and cousin Priyanka Chopra Jonas had a social media exchange that caught the attention of their fans. Parineeti shared a post on Instagram recently, and declared that she is now ‘free’. She cryptically added that nobody knows the reason behind her comment better than Priyanka.

In one of the photos that she shared, Parineeti is seen at a railway station with her luggage next to her. She captioned the image ‘Freee,’ and added a dove emoticon. This comes days after it was reported that Parineeti’s 11-year association Yash Raj Films’ talent agency had ended.

Filmmaker Anurag Kashyap was in Himachal Pradesh to participate in the Dharamshala International Film Festival. Writer Varun Grover and Oscar-nominated documentary filmmakers Rintu Thomas and Sushmit Ghosh also joined him, as they hosted masterclasses and panel discussions. Late Saturday night, Anurag also shared a photo of him meeting the Dalai Lama at the event.

Posting a picture on Instagram of being greeted by the holiness, he wrote, “This happened today @diff.india.” In the photo, while the Dalai Lama is seen smiling, with his hands folded as he meets Anurag, the latter shakes hands with one of the disciples.

Anurag Kashyap shared his experience and his journey as a filmmaker in a session titled Adventures in the Film Trade. “
“Bollywood actor Abhishek Bachchan recently said that many actors in the industry do not push themselves beyond their boundaries. The actor recalled what his father, Amitabh Bachchan, told him about bad performers and how the audience does not care what is happening with them behind the scenes, but only about what they can project on screen.

At the India Today Conclave Mumbai 2022, Abhishek said, “When I was starting my career, my father once famously told me and I had a similar question about what one should be doing. He told me, ‘No subtitles are saying, please excuse bad performers because he was having a bad day.’ The audience doesn’t care. At the end of the day, you have to convince them.”””
In other news: Om Raut’s Adipurush, starring Prabhas, Saif Ali Khan and Kriti Sanon, will now release in June 2023, instead of January. The makers released a statement explaining the decision why, saying that they want to give a ‘complete visual’ experience to viewers, and hence need more time on the film. The teaser had released a few weeks ago and received severe trolling for the poor quality of the VFX. There was also much discussion about how true the film would be to Lord Rama’s story.
“Aasmaan Bhardwaj’s Kuttey, starring Arjun Kapoor, Tabu, Konkona Sensharma, Naseeruddin Shah, among others now has a release date. The film will hit theatres on January 13, 2023. Arjun Kapoor took to Instagram and shared the announcement.

He captioned his post, “Usher in the New Year with Kuttey, releasing in cinemas on 13th January 2023.” The announcement read, “Kuttey will release in cinemas on January 13, 2023. Kuttey is directed by Aasman Bhardwaj, presented by Gulshan Kumar and Bhushan Kumar’s T-series and produced by Luv Ranjan, Vishal Bhardwaj, Ankur Garg and Rekha Bhardwaj.””

Bollywood actors Ajay Devgn and Tabu go back a long way, having collaborated on several projects together, including Drishyam, Drishyam 2, Haqeeqat, De De Pyaar De, and Thakshak, among others. The duo will soon be seen together in Devgn’s directorial Bholaa.

On Friday, Tabu celebrated her 52nd birthday, and Ajay Devgn took to social media to wish the actor. Sharing a video in which he could be seen tending to a wound on Tabu’s head, Devgn wrote in the caption, “Kaahe ghabraaye? Happy birthday, @tabutiful. #SetsOfBholaa.” The song “Kahe Ghabraaye” from the movie Pyaasa is played in the background. It’s unclear if the injury is real or if Devgn was just wiping away makeup after a scene.”
