TechCrunch is (literally) excited to be heading to Minneapolis, Minnesota. The event will take place on September 7th at 2:00 PM CDT/12:00 PM PDT. It’s free to attend, and it’s free to submit your Minneapolis-area startup to the pitch competition. I hope you can do it.
As with every TechCrunch Live event, the program features entrepreneurs and investors sharing their stories with the goal of helping other venture-backed businesses build. Except this time, the event has expanded to make room for more local founders and investors who are deeply integrated into the Minnesota ecosystem.

The application deadline was August 24th, but we have extended it for an additional 48 hours, closing on August 26th. Selected companies will get four minutes to present their company (with a pitch) and answer six minutes of questions. Venture capitalists from Revolution and Bain Capital Ventures’ Rise of the Rest seed fund. The winner will be fast-tracked into Battlefield 200, which will come with free exhibit space and exclusive programming at Disrupt 2022.
To qualify you must:
- Be based in the greater Minneapolis, Minnesota area
- Have an MVP
- Let A be the presequence
