Digital fashion house and production studio Metaverse, The Immersive Kind, is debuting “The Other World,” an event on September 4 in conjunction with New York Digital Fashion Week 2022.

The Immersive Kind is also hosting a London Metaverse Fashion Week Show within its digital venue at Spatial, showcasing artwork and international digital fashion collections from 3D fashion designers.
The event celebrates an explosion of creativity taking place with 15 Crypto Fashion Artists, including Ivan Svanberg, Allan Gregorio, Hol Studios, Heidi Chatten, Elez Gener and Jessica James.
Essential players
Immersive Kind and Studio Multi, an architecture firm, are collaborating on custom immersive environments for the event.
Nicola Rutt, Founding Director at Studio Multi, also explained that the event allows her firm to leverage its interest in repurposing abandoned industrial spaces into the real world through Metaverse platforms. Additionally, the director said the collaboration provides a “test bed” for concepts in both the physical and virtual worlds.
She added that the Other World and the Space service provide a space to host a “digital community for cultural, social and educational tools”.
Kadine James, CEO and Founder of The Immersive Kind, also said the collaboration has created an “extraordinary piece of industrial architecture”.
Immersive Kind is also adding Ready Player Me to its team. The partnership enables The Other World event to use its partner’s highly detailed avatars to showcase digital wearables.
A willing player’s spokesperson added,
“[Ready Player Me is] driven by the mission to increase accessibility in the metaverse. We are passionate about projects that are unique and have a cultural impact”
Additionally, in February, Ready Player Me partnered with developers of web augmented reality (AR) experiences to offer custom avatars for the popular WebAR toolkit.
