Veteran actress Jaya Bachchan lately has been making headlines for all the wrong reasons. Days after she received severe backlash for telling a pap ‘I hope you double and fall’, another video of Jaya getting angry at the photographers has gone viral on social media. The actress got really angry with the paps stationed outside her home Pratiksha to get the Bachchan family’s pictures on Diwali. Jaya was seen shouting and chasing the shutterbugs away from her house premises and indeed she looked very miffed.
Jaya has often been called out over her rude and insensitive behavior towards photographers, media, and fans. A few days ago, the 74-year-old actress was spotted at Lakme Fashion Week in Mumbai with her granddaughter Navya Naveli Nanda. As a paparazzo took a tumble while taking her picture she said “serves you well.” She added, “I hope you double and fall.” Jaya Bachchan received strong criticism with celebs and netizens slamming her insensitive remarks.
In October, Jaya again got into an altercation with the photographers during her visit to Kali Bari temple in Bhopal with her son Abhishek Bachchan. Reportedly, she lost her cool at the paparazzi stationed outside and started shouting at them, “What are you all doing? Puchha apne? Puchha? Hadd hoti hai.”
