The couple touched on their childhood, “Tim and I each had mothers who collected antiques.” Brenda said “That led us to the idea of ​​opening our own business, focused on antiques and collectibles, and after careful consideration, that idea finally brought us here to open our store. We used to live in Columbus, I retired as a nurse and Tim is a retired business owner.

Brenda spoke of how welcoming the St. Mary’s community has been to her and her husband. “The entire community, including St. Mary’s City Council, St. Mary’s Chamber of Commerce, as well as many other local businesses and shops, have been very supportive of our store and our ideas.”

One of these was the implementation of bus trips for the city of St. Mary’s.

“We went to a trade show in Cleveland, and Tim gave a presentation about the bus tours in St. Marys, saying that the town was such a neat, historic place with a railroad through the center of the Ohio River, where one could see sterns and boats, and he blew the audience’s socks off. . Brenda said.
