Nick Saban’s latest business venture is a luxury Ferrari dealership in Music City.

The Alabama coach is part of the ownership group that opened Nashville’s Prancing Horse, a 43,400-square-foot Italian sports car dealership, one of 60 in the world.

At 2320 Knights of Columbus Blvd. On a 14.33-acre site, Prancing Horse is located off Interstate 40 near Nashville International Airport.

Crane Construction built on a design by Praxis 3 Architects. It includes a two-level showroom, sales office, lounge, cafe and service room with nine bays. The shop also serves vehicles from local Ferrari owners.

“It’s long overdue,” the dealership’s general manager, Christopher Miele, told Ferrari of Nashville.

“There were cars registered here and there wasn’t a dealer backing them,” Miele said.

The dealership is designed to reflect the brand’s classic atmosphere, with three libraries, all with Italian leather seats, and vintage Ferrari books.

There’s also a customization section where customers can choose every detail of the vehicle – from stitching to color – and test seats to see which one suits them best.

The dealership is part of parent company Dream Motor Group, and shares ownership of Mercedes-Benz Music City, split between Dream Motor CEO Joe Agresti and Saban. Dream Motor owns a Mercedes dealership in Irondale and Hoover, Louisiana and a Hoover Infiniti dealership in Texas.

Earlier this month, The Alamite, a 112-room Tuscaloosa boutique hotel, backed in part by Saban, opened on Sixth Street.

Nashville’s Prancing Horse had a soft opening this month.

“My favorite part of the whole deal is seeing someone’s dream come to life,” Miele said. “The customization is really my favorite part. People who come to buy a Ferrari can find anything they want. To see the joy, the little boy comes out of everyone, is my favorite part. “
