Former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton condemned the planeload of immigrants to Martha’s Vineyard in Massachusetts.
On Tuesday, 50 refugees arrived on two planes at the direction of Florida’s Republican governor, Ron DeSantis — unwittingly becoming a political plaything for America’s immigration policy.
During an appearance on MSNBC’s Morning Joe, Clinton said, “Some politicians are not only making the issue worse, they are literally making the issue worse.”

A Massachusetts island on Wednesday took credit for leasing planes to transport undocumented immigrants to force officials in another state to take responsibility for them. The immigrants are mainly from Venezuela.
Martha’s Vineyard is the only vacation destination where former President Barack Obama has a vacation home, and Bill and Hillary Clinton often visit.

“This is a cruel ploy to defraud families who want a better life,” he said, describing it as “basically a racist tactic.”
