Trashion Fashion: turning trash into wearable art

Trashion Fashion: turning trash into wearable art

Posted by Asifa Pasin.

The Trashion Fashion Show is a fun, creative event in which participants use their imagination and design skills to create and display wearable clothing using materials that would otherwise be discarded. It will be Saturday September 10th at 3pm (models and artists arrive at 2pm) at The Grange, 3252 Orcas Road. Everyone is invited to participate and last minute submissions will also be accepted. We need more fun and creative events in our lives and a Trashion Fashion show is a good way to do that. It is sponsored by Orcas Recycling Services and Sew4ZeroWaste.
