Welcome Back to the exchange’s weekend missive. If you’re reading this on TechCrunch and want to get the letter in your inbox, head over here.

Your regular host Anna Haim This week is gone on a much-needed vacation, so I’m going back to my old job as a newsletter writer. It’s nice to write this note, to be honest, thanks for having me.

Today we’re looking at the good news from the venture capital market we’ve covered this week, but with a global perspective. We’re widening our lens a bit to get a better understanding of whether the good news coming out of the United States is taking hold elsewhere. Call abroad in honor of Anna. to make! – Alex

The good

In the United States, venture capital activity is continuing to outperform our expectations. that’s nice. Perhaps better, interest in software startups seems fairly strong. It is important because most startups are software companies; If software startups are healthy, tech companies in general are doing OK. And with the US’s huge influence on startups, startups should be safe everywhere, right?
