It’s raining new shows on Indian television. Considering the festive season, leading GECs are busy introducing newer shows to keep the viewers engaged. Star Plus, which has been ruling the TRP charts, is all set to launch a new daily soap next month. Based against the backdrop of Rajasthan, the show titled Faltu will focus on the story of an ‘unwanted girl child’.
After creating ripples with the first promo, the makers have released another promo on Tuesday (October 18). In the new clip, we can see Faltu (Niharika Chouksey) playing cricket despite facing criticism from all the corners.
Aakash Ahuja’s character will play the role of a catalyst in Faltu’s life and help her in realising her dreams. However, there is a big twist in tale. If the promo is anything to go by, the male lead will be married. Yes, you read that right!
How the two leads come together will form the crux of the story. The cast and crew have shot important sequences in Jaipur and other parts of Rajasthan. The background voice towards the end of the promo left us excited as she said, “Faltu tu anmol ban sakti hai par manzil dikhane wala khud raah bhul gaya hai (Faltu, you can become precious but the person, who was supposed to guide you, has lost the path).”
