COCOA, Fla. – An amazing restaurant in Cocoa is preparing to close its doors for the last time.
Black Tulip, 207 Brevard Ave., will close for good Thursday, according to a Facebook post from the restaurant.

The owner, Daniel Colzani, has sold the business, according to the post office. News 6 affiliate Florida Today reports the business was sold to a woman from Mexico whose family has always owned restaurants.
“Whether you had your first date here, when you said ‘I do’, or celebrated birthdays and anniversaries, the Black Tulip would love to see you one last time.”
The restaurant is hosting a final dinner service from 5-8pm with a limited menu, he said.

According to the restaurant’s website, the business opened in 1981.
“Lifelong friends have been made, friends have become family, business has grown and tragedy has happened; there have been good, crazy and difficult times, but in the end we wouldn’t have it any other way,” he wrote. “We want to close with a ‘bang’.”
