Maxine Paul has joined the Environmental Consulting Group as Director of Business Development at Adelante Consulting.
Prior to joining Adlante’s consulting team, Paul led the Environmental Division at Pueblo Santa Ana’s Department of Natural Resources, overseeing new programs on air quality, clearing brownfields, solar energy planning and climate resilience, making more than 1,000 improvements. It has built. acres of land, and bringing in over $3 million in grants and concessions. She is vice chair of the Albuquerque and Bernalillo County Air Quality Control Board and helped pass Advanced Clean Cars for New Mexico. She is a former tribal representative for the New Mexico Environmental Department’s Recycling and Illegal Dumping Alliance and a member of the executive committee of the National Tribal Air Association.
Paul received her bachelor’s degree from Columbia University, where she studied long-distance carbon distribution in New Mexico ecosystems. She received her master’s degree from the University of New Mexico. Paul holds certifications in HAZWOPER, UXO Tech 1, NMED Compost Facility Operator and Method 9 Visual Emissions Observer.
