When did you first get into fashion?
Destination Imagination, when I was in 4th grade.
What mediums do you mainly work with?
Fashion, sewing and drawing.
What has been your favorite art-related experience so far?
Making a bag for a fashion design class.
What do you hope to do/achieve as an artist in the future?
I have my own business.
What advice would you give to someone looking to break into fashion?
Practice makes perfect.
Do you have any hidden talents?
I think I’m pretty good at doing eyeliner!
What is your biggest pet peeve?
When someone messes up my room.
Where do you hope to travel one day?
New York City. I think it’s absolutely gorgeous there and my dream college is the Fashion Institute of Technology, so I’d love to see it in person.
What’s the best advice you’ve been given?
If it doesn’t say you can’t, you can.
Who is your role model?
Nikita Dragun. She seems very confident in who she is and doesn’t let hate for who she is, she just keeps going.
What are your plans after you graduate?
I would like to attend the Fashion Institute of Technology in New York, but my parents want me to attend another school for at least a year first, so I can be closer to home until I adjust. But I would like to become a fashion designer.
Do you have any pets?
A rabbit named Pancake and a dog named Mike McCarthy.
What is one skill you think everyone should have?
Belief in oneself. It is so important because people may come and go, but you are guaranteed to have yourself for the rest of your life, so you need to be calm and confident in who you are and how you act.
Are you a Green Bay Packers fan?
Yes!
