At this year’s Consumer Technology Association conference CES, one of the world’s largest gatherings of its kind, tech companies unveiled revolutionary new security technology.

From alarms that can detect broken glass without installing dozens of window sensors to the latest generation of drones, CES 2022 had a lot to offer in terms of security technology. Here are a few key points to help keep your business safe and secure.

Ring glass breaker sensor

For the past several years, Ring has been disrupting the alarm system space by offering customers a self-managed option. The company also offers tracking services that cost much less than most of its major competitors.

At CES 2022, Ring unveiled a new addition to its lineup – the Glass Break Sensor. Unlike old-school glass break sensors, this device can detect breaks remotely.

When paired with the Ring Alarm or the Pro Switch, the sensor can detect glass breaks or intrusion attempts from up to 25 feet away. Place a few of these in your business, and you’ll be notified the moment a bad actor tries to break into the building.

Shield 2+

The Skydio 2+ is an AI-powered drone that uses American drone software known as KeyFrame. Skydio 2+ can be used to get a bird’s eye view of your facility and ensure the perimeter is secure. You can use the drone to perform routine security inspections, monitor your warehouse, or complete other security-related tasks.

TP-Link tapo cameras

TP-Link is known for manufacturing quality routers and networking equipment. However, the company has announced the launch of the Tapo line in the US market. The line includes high-quality security cameras with tilt and panoramic view options.

These security cameras come in corded or battery operated models. If you want to light up your parking lot while deterring crime at the same time, you can buy a flood light camera.
