The 16th edition of the music festival Sunburn Goa is set to be held from December 28 through December 30, 2022, at Vagator, Goa. Among many others, Grammy Award winners Dimitri Vegas and Like Mike aka DVLM will be headlining the festival this year. Ahead of the musical festival, the Belgian–Greek DJ duo recently talked about their love for India, and how they are excited to be back after three years. Interestingly, during his chat, Dimitri Vegas opened up on his love for acting while stating that he hopes to be featured in a Salman Khan film.
Dimitri Vegas “hopes” to feature in a Salman Khan film
As per a report by Hindustan Times, the DJ duo was asked if they are keen on working with anyone from the Hindi film industry. In the response, Vegas asserted, “We’re always open to new collaborations with artists from all cultures. We know of AR Rahman (composer), Zakir Hussain (tabla legend) and Anoushka Shankar (sitar player). For me, personally, being in a movie could be fun. Acting is a career I’m pursuing.”
He further added, “I’ve just had my first lead role in the movie H4Z4RD, which followed an appearance in the final instalment of Jurassic World: Dominion. Since I am pretty close to Salman Khan (actor), I hope one day I can feature in one of his movies.”
Coming back to the musical festival, along with Dimitri and Mike, Afrojack, and Black Coffee will also perform this year. Meanwhile, domestic artists such as DJ Shaan, Gurbax, Julia Bliss, Kash Trivedi, Teri Miko, Sound Avatar, Sartek, Pro Bros, Olly Esse, Ankytrixx, Bullzeye, Priyanjana are also going to be part of Sunburn Goa.
Talking about Salman Khan, he is celebrating his 57th birthday today, which is December 27. On the professional front, he is currently hosting the popular TV show Bigg Boss 16 and will next be seen in Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan.
