Downtown Jonesboro business ghosts

JONESBORO, Ark. (KAIT) – A downtown business, spiritual awakening and healing center, may be home to some ghosts.

For more than a year, people who have worked in the building for decades said that they have experienced things from the other side.

“There’s a lot of activity tonight,” said co-owner Roy Tankley.

On a dark Friday night, the owners, anchor and chief investigative reporter Chris Carter join paranormal detective Du Cousins to hunt ghosts.

We’re ready to find out who might call this decade-old building home.

We started with a small section of basic questions that can be answered with a simple yes or no.

“It wasn’t scary,” Tanksley said. “It’s just yes or no, so we never run out of questions. They couldn’t come out and give us a biography.”

The night we visited, everyone who calls this building home had something to say and our video was a little out of the ordinary.

“We had orbs that looked like little lights,” Tanksley said.

He said that the entity we spoke to using EMP readers had never been in human form.

“The person we are talking to is very nice. It’s very interesting,” Cousins said. “They seem to have a sense of humor once in a while.”

In the year The response on a Friday night in 2022 was a little different than when we first hunted a year ago!

At that time, the spirits had a bit of a relationship with the news director of KAIT-8.

Cousins has a theory as to why any reaction we experienced was different.

“I don’t think we’ve talked to anyone like we did a year ago,” Cousins said.

In our hunt this year, we used new forms of communication, including pendulums and tarot cards.

We don’t know exactly what we’re dealing with, but we believe the cousins are friendly.

“Peaceful,” relatives said of what kind of spirit resides in the building. “Bye.”

“They are everywhere. Like everything else, we have to live together,” Tanksley said.

Cousins is still reviewing our rescue audio.

Last year, we didn’t get any feedback from our contacts.
