“Let’s begin with news on director Advait Chandan, who in his two-film-old career as a filmmaker, says he has realised one thing: he loves helming stories penned by him.
Advait made his directorial debut with 2017’s Secret Superstar, starring Aamir Khan in a special role. The film was a commercial and critical success but his second movie Laal Singh Chaddha, led by Aamir, had a disappointing run at the box office.
In a conversation with PTI, the director said, “I feel I enjoy the process of directing something I have written. I enjoy that because while writing I have visualised the scene. I enjoy that process. On Laal Singh, what I missed was the process of writing,”

“Actor Kriti Sanon recently revealed the most annoying habit of her Bhediya co-star Varun Dhawan. Varun praised Kriti for having a “very clean” heart, but Kriti criticised Varun for not returning her call and for not saying hello and goodbye at the beginning and end of a conversation.
Kriti added “”Secondly, always when you keep the phone down there’s a subtle distraction. Either someone has called you or you have to do something else. You don’t say bye, It’s a very detached conversation at the beginning and the end.”””
“Kartik Aaryan and Alaya F’s romantic song from the upcoming movie Freddy was released by the makers recently. The song “Tum Jo Milo” features a mysterious Freddy played by Kartik trying to win over his lady love Kainaaz, played by Alaya.
We get a sneak peek of the journey of Freddy and Kainaaz in the song crooned by Abhijeet Srivastava. The Pritam composition eloquently captures the start of their romance, from their initial meeting and cup of coffee to their first kiss. One of the highlights of the music video is Alaya’s brand-new retro-like swagger. The track is written by Irshad Kamil.
Freddy is all set to release on Disney Plus Hotstar on December 3. “
“Jackie Shroff faced bankruptcy after Boom (2002), a film produced by his wife Ayesha Shroff, was pirated before it was released in theatres. The actor decided to pay back the debt, even leasing his house in the process. They lost the house eventually as the film flopped.
Ayesha appeared on an episode of Koffee With Karan, which featured Jackie and their son Tiger Shroff. Amid tears, she spoke of their difficult times, “I made a movie called Boom some years ago. That movie meant a lot to me. My husband stood with me and said, ‘It’s our family honour. I am with you.’””

Aamir Khan’s daughter Ira Khan got engaged to her longtime boyfriend Nupur Shikhare on November 18. With their friends and family gathered around them on their special day, Ira and Nupur set the mood for the celebration by beaming with joy and love. Ira took to her Instagram handle and posted a video of a ‘moment’
She wrote in the caption, “This moment. Multiple people on multiple occasions have told me that I throw really good parties. I think they give me a little too much credit. The main difference between my parties and other people’s parties is the guest list. The people in our lives are what makes it happy and fun and quirky and so very, very wholesome.””
“Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan will receive an Honorary Award at the second edition of the Red Sea International Film Festival in Saudi Arabia.
In a statement, the festival organisers said the actor is being recognised for his “exceptional contribution” to the film industry.
He will be felicitated with the honour at the festival’s opening ceremony on December 1 in Jeddah on the eastern shore of the Red Sea.
SRK said, “I am truly honoured to receive this award from the Red Sea International Film Festival. It’s wonderful to be here among my fans from Saudi and the region who have always been huge supporters of my films.””

“Singer Shreya Ghoshal took to Instagram to reveal that she completely lost her voice before a big concert, but still managed to perform.
Taking to Instagram stories, Ghoshal wrote, “So emotional today. I love my band, my fam, and my team who support me on my best and worst days, and help me shine no matter what. Had lost my voice completely after last night’s concert in Orlando. With the prayers of my good wishes and my doctor Sameer Bhargava’s best care, I could bring my voice back to be able to sing a full 3 hr concert for a packed New York arena.”

Actor Ranveer Singh didn’t hesitate to remind commentator Martin Brundle that he was a Bollywood star. Ranveer was present at the F1 race in Abu Dhabi and had a hilarious interaction with Brundle, who ‘momentarily’ forgot that Ranveer was an actor.
Ranveer replied with full cheer, “I’m a Bollywood actor and I hail from Mumbai, India. I am an entertainer.” Brundle had also asked him how it felt to be at the venue and he said, “On top of the world! I can feel the exhilaration and adrenaline!” Brundle was full of praise for Ranveer’s outfit, which was a bright yellow shirt with stripes, paired with glasses.”
