Three things to know

1. The Hokies have had early success at home. Tech is 103-23-1 for a .815 winning percentage in home openers. -3 (.912) in home openers, last loss at season-No. 1 Ohio State 42-24.



2. Tech gets off to a strong start against ACC foes in the lane.
