Georgia Tech Men’s Basketball Schedule Announced – Men’s Basketball – Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets


The plates – For the second straight year, the Georgia Tech men’s basketball team will visit the 2022 national runner-up Tar Heels on Dec. 10 at the Dean Smith Center to open its Atlantic Coast Conference schedule against North Carolina. It’s the first of three conference games the Yellow Jackets will play in December, with the other two at home against Clemson and Virginia over the holiday break.

The full ACC schedule for all 15 teams was announced Tuesday by the conference office. The Yellow Jackets’ non-conference schedule is now complete. Tips and TV coverage will be announced shortly.

The first visit to Chapel Hill will be the fourth in head coach Josh Pastner’s tenure as the Yellow Jackets face the Tar Heels in December. Tech will follow that contest with traditional home-and-away rival Clemson on Dec. 21 and Virginia on New Year’s Eve, both at McMish Pavilion.

The Jackets have seven of 11 ACC games at home before the end of January. When the calendar flips to 2023, Tech will play Miami on Jan. 4, Pittsburgh on Jan. 14, NC State on Jan. 17, Syracuse on Jan. 21 and Duke on Jan. 28. The Pastner Jackets will only play three games at home. Final nine conference games February and March – Feb. 8 vs. traditional home-and-away rival Notre Dame, Feb. 15 vs. defending ACC champion Virginia Tech and Feb. 25 vs. Louisville.

On the road, Tech travels to Florida State and Notre Dame on Jan. 7 and 10 back-to-back before returning to Clemson on Jan. 24 for the first half of the conference schedule. In the back half, the Yellow Jackets have another back-to-back road swing at Louisville (Feb. 1) and NC State (Feb. 4) and single trips to Wake Forest (Feb. 11) and Pittsburgh (Feb. 21). before closing out the regular season on the road at Syracuse (Feb. 28) and Boston College (March 4).

Here is season ticket information for the 2022-23 Georgia Tech season. The Yellow Jackets will start the 2022-23 season in 2022. They open Nov. 7 against Clayton State, and the non-conference home schedule includes dates at Northern Illinois (Nov. 17), North Alabama (Nov. 26), Northeastern (Dec. 26). 2) Georgia (Dec. 6) and Alabama State (Dec. 17) as well as Florida Tech on Feb. 18 at Tech in February.

Tech also visits Georgia State on Nov. 12, travels to Iowa for the ACC/Big Ten Challenge on Nov. 29 and will participate in the Fort Myers Tip-Off Nov. 21 and 23 to open the event against Utah.

The Yellow Jackets return eight lettermen for head coach Josh Pastner in his seventh season, including a senior point guard.
