Heaven by Marc Jacobs brought the fashion crowd to somewhere else to party – WWD

Heaven by Marc Jacobs went to the Mecca of its Gen Z customer base on Saturday night: Bushwick. The brand took over Elsewhere nightclub in celebration of its autumn campaign, which stars Doja Cat – officially a host for the evening – Charli XCX, Dev Hynes, Pamela Anderson and Kyle MacLachlan.

The line to get into the bar stretched along Johnson Street and wrapped around the block shortly after the doors opened at 10pm, with hordes of hopeful clubgoers rushing to get inside. “Everyone in this line is on the roll,” one of the bouncers told a group making their case to move forward.

By midnight, the intimate room was packed wall to wall with bodies. Guests wrapped around the dance floor included Jared Leto, the Gossip Girl crew — Jordan Alexander, Eli Brown, Evan Mock — photographer Tyler Mitchell, Rickey Thompson and art curator Kimberly Drew. Madonna, already in Brooklyn for the Marni show earlier in the evening, also left briefly. There was even talk of a Marc Jacobs look.

The room continued to swell in anticipation of the evening’s performers. Charli XCX took the stage for a two-song set just after midnight, followed shortly by PinkPantheress. Doja Cat, the finale of the evening, arrived backstage around 12:30 and took the stage immediately. But at 3 a.m. at the end of the party, the night was still young.
