Actress Manushi Chhillar, who wowed the audiences with her debut in Samrat Prithviraj alongside superstar Akshay Kumar, was in Amritsar recently for an event and decided to visit the iconic Golden Temple. The actress will next be seen in a unique avatar in the forthcoming geo-political drama Tehraan, which features John Abraham as the leading man.

Manushi has had an eventful year with the release of her debut movie, followed by signing and shooting for two new films and a couple of big brand endorsements including the global campaign for Estée Lauder. Seeking blessings for a good next phase of her career, Manushi paid a visit to the Gurudwara and shared some photos of her visit on her social media.

On the work front, the actress recently completed another major schedule of the John Abraham starrer. Speaking about her Tehraan shooting experience, Manushi had said, “I want to learn and grow with every project that I get an opportunity to do. I want to constantly evolve into becoming an actor who is formidable in her craft and dependable to deliver performances that hopefully touch the hearts and minds of audiences. Tehran is one such film.” The film is inspired by true events, marks the feature directorial debut of ad filmmaker Arun Gopalan and is produced by Dinesh Vijan’s Maddock Films.
