Meghan Markle was looking to the future on Monday, wearing an all-red ensemble from activist fashion label Another Tomorrow to deliver a keynote speech at the One Young World Summit 2022.
Meghan attended the ceremony in Manchester, England, alongside her husband, Prince Harry, to kick off the couple’s four-day European visit.
This marks their first joint return to work in Britain since stepping down from performing official duties on behalf of Queen Elizabeth II and moving to the US in 2020.

One Young World is an organization Meghan has a long association with, which predates her engagement to Harry. It helps develop and empower young leaders to build a just and sustainable future.
American fashion label Another Tomorrow was founded in 2018 by former financier Vanessa Barboni Hallik.
On the brand’s website, Barboni Hallik says her mission with Another Tomorrow is “to create a truly sustainable and compassionate company with a three-pronged approach to providing a core wardrobe of ethically made clothing, education and accountable, and a platform for activism to amplify our collective voices.”
Activism is at the heart of Another Tomorrow’s ethos, with every business decision made “guided by a value system based on three pillars: human, animal and environmental welfare”.
This latest concern particularly appeals to Meghan and Harry, who have often spoken about the importance of protecting the planet.
On July 18, the prince devoted a large part of his keynote address to the UN to commemorate International Nelson Mandela Day to the subject.

The top Meghan chose to wear for her keynote speech was the brand’s fire red collarless bow top in durable viscose with classic cuffs and a minimal shirt hem.
A key feature of the blouse is a long draped shawl element, which creates an added sense of drama and pulls together the matching woolen trousers with the flat-front, straight-leg suit.
Meghan accessorized by wearing a pair of Panthere 105 cut-out suede pumps from her favorite shoe designer Aquazzura, as well as simple gold earrings and rings.
That wasn’t the only ensemble of the day worn by Meghan. She was photographed traveling from her home at Frogmore Cottage on Queen Elizabeth II’s Windsor Castle estate in Berkshire, England, wearing a red turtleneck and wide leg trousers.
Meghan wore the ensemble for the two-hour train journey from London to Manchester, where the One Young World event took place.
Before the opening ceremony, Meghan and Harry met a number of the organisation’s delegate members, young people whom Meghan called “inspirational” during her opening speech.
She praised the “resounding themes that emerged around representation, inclusion, access, and trying to shift the global perspective on all of us as a global community to a curiosity about critique.”

As well as attending the summit’s opening ceremony, Meghan and Harry have included a visit to Germany in their European tour, with a party being held in Dusseldorf to mark the one-year mark of the 2023 Invictus Games.
Harry founded the games in 2014 to provide a platform for wounded, ill or injured servicemen and women to display their mental and physical strength. He and Meghan have continued their association with Invictus since working independently from the British royal family.
The European tour is scheduled to end back in Britain with the couple attending the WellChild Awards, a charity Harry has been a patron of since 2007.
