Kathy most recently served as the Director of Hospital Operations for Franciscan Missionaries of the Lake Children’s Hospital at Our Lady of Health System in Baton Rouge. Kathy has 10 years of experience. He served as an administrative fellow at Our Lady of the Lake Regional Medical Center and was a project manager for the Department of Anesthesiology at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston.
He holds a bachelor’s degree in management from LSU, a master’s degree in business administration from Southeastern Louisiana University and a degree in health care administration from the University of Houston – Clear Lake.

Aleman comes from Corporate One FCU, a $6 billion corporate credit union, where he was assistant vice president of key accounts.
Prior to joining Corporate One, Almun was the Regional Director of JMFA, a non-interest income and non-interest expense consulting firm. He was also a licensed banker with JPMorgan Chase Bank in New Orleans and, prior to that, a teller with Whitney National Bank.

Annie Mattern joined Gamble Communications As a senior communications strategist.
Mattern develops and manages communications strategy and solutions for a variety of clients, including Ronald McDonald House Charities of South Louisiana, Hilton New Orleans Riverside and Sancofa.
She is the director of public relations for the Audubon Nature Institute.
She majored in public relations and advertising and graduated from Spring Hill College with a degree in business administration. While at Materne College, she worked as an intern at Gamble.

Jeffrey FernandezOchsner Health’s senior vice president and general counsel has assumed the new CEO role. Ochsner Health Plan.
Fernandez replaces Terry Schilling, who served in an advisory role to lead the implementation of the health plan.
Prior to joining Ochsner in August 2021, Fernandez served as senior vice president of Huma’s Medicare West Division, responsible for Medicare Advantage operations in 17 states, including Louisiana. His career with Humana spanned 16 years.
He holds a bachelor’s degree in marketing from LSU, a master’s degree in business administration from the University of New Orleans, and a master’s degree from Loyola University New Orleans College of Law.

Clowers has 16 years of service at the Franciscan Missionaries of Our Lady Health System, most recently serving as the system’s vice president of ambulatory services. She served in various capacities at Our Lady of Lourdes Health, starting as Vice President of Finance/Controller before moving to CFO and eventually Interim Market President.
She earned her bachelor’s degree in accounting and her master’s degree in business administration from Louisiana Tech University.

Collins has served as NPC’s facilities manager since 2004, coordinating day-to-day operations and management, operations personnel and contracted services.
Collins replaces Bill Dawson, who retired after 36 years.
He earned a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from LSU.

Dr. Victoria Bourgeois And Dr. Nathan Sugarman They joined Baton Rouge General PractitionersIt is located in the hospital’s Bluebonnet campus.
Bourgeois sees patients at an obstetrics and gynecology clinic and Sugarman cares for patients at Baton Rouge Family Medical Center.
Bourgeois earned her medical degree from American Caribbean School of Medicine and completed her residency in obstetrics and gynecology at Women’s Hospital in Baton Rouge, LSU Health Sciences Center.
Sugarman earned a bachelor’s degree in biology from the University of California and a medical degree from the American University of the Caribbean School of Medicine. He completed his residency in family medicine at Baton Rouge General, where he served as chief resident.

Dr. Pratipa Santhanam Joined the group of suppliers Our Lady of the Lake Children’s Health.
Santhanam is a pediatric gastroenterologist who treats patients with a variety of conditions including abdominal pain, constipation, nausea, vomiting, eosinophilic esophagitis and inflammatory bowel disease.
She received her bachelor’s degree in biology, physics and chemistry from Anglo-China Junior College and her doctorate from PSG Medical Science and Research Institute. She also completed her pediatric residency at Brookdale University Hospital and Medical Center and an ACGME Fellowship in Pediatric Gastroenterology at the University of North Carolina.
